1. Download the Driver

Visit the official Xprinter website: https://www.xprintertech.com

Download the Windows Driver for your model
2. Extract the Driver

If it comes as a
.zip
file, right-click → Extract All
3. Run the Setup

Inside the extracted folder, look for a file named
Setup.exe
orDriver Install.exe

Right-click it → Run as Administrator

Follow the on-screen instructions
4. Connect the Printer

Connect the printer to your computer via USB

Turn the printer ON
-
Windows should detect the device and may auto-install or prompt for the driver
5. Set as Default & Configure

Go to Control Panel → Devices and Printers
-
Find your printer (e.g., XP-420B), right-click → Set as Default Printer
-
Right-click again → Printer Properties → Advanced

Choose the correct paper size and resolution

In Printing Preferences, set:

Label size (e.g., 100x150mm for shipping labels)
-
Printing darkness, speed, etc.

Test the Printer

Open Notepad or any PDF
-
Try printing a label to verify it’s working
Troubleshooting Tips

If printing blanks: Make sure you’re using direct thermal labels, and not thermal transfer labels.

If driver fails: Try using Seagull Scientific Windows Driver for Xprinter models (especially useful in logistics/shipping setups).
